Summer is in full swing, and I hope this season brings you opportunities to recharge, create, and connect—whether you’re behind the line, teaching, competing, or spending time with loved ones.
The Cleveland Chapter continues to grow in both numbers and energy. Our commitment to education, community, and culinary excellence has been evident in every event and gathering this year. As always, I want to thank each of you for being part of what makes our chapter such a standout in the region.
Chapter Highlights
Cleveland Whiskey Meeting Recap: A heartfelt thank you to Cleveland Whiskey for hosting our most recent meeting. It was a fantastic evening filled with great conversation, culinary camaraderie, and a unique behind-the-scenes look at one of Cleveland’s most innovative distilleries. If you missed it, you missed a good one—but there’s plenty more ahead!
• Dr. L.J. Minor Chef Professionalism Award – Voting Now Open: Ballots are officially open for one of our federation’s most meaningful recognitions—the Dr. L.J. Minor Chef Professionalism Award. This award honors chefs who demonstrate the highest standards of culinary professionalism and community service. Be sure to cast your vote and recognize the outstanding leaders in our midst.
ACF Convention Las Vegas
The ACF National Convention is right around the corner! Join us July 27-31, 2025, in Las Vegas, NV for an unforgettable gathering of culinary professionals from across the country. This is the ultimate opportunity to earn CEHs, connect with peers, attend demos and competitions, and represent Cleveland on the national stage.
